VIDEO CCR

VIDEO CCR ANTHONY VILLEGAS How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? Before starting work on a video, I analyzed various music videos to identify similarities and consistency. I analyzed Stillz's music videos, which featured an extended wardrobe, good production, and numerous transitions. I decided to follow these conventions in the video, not copying them. I also analyzed the movements and transitions I wanted to achieve and tried to break them down to replicate them. After a second filming section, I was able to successfully film the clips and added transitions like changing clothes, putting on jewelry, and a continuation shot. I also modified the speed of certain clips, such as the character walking through clothes, to make the clips more engaging for the audience. I also incorporated a change in the camera's speed to make the transitions more noticeable. In the product that I got from the video I was able to stick

Final edit

Image
Hey I am Anthony Villegas and today I will be discussing how my day went working on my video. As of last blog me and my team had just ended re filming the footage I will be editing for the video. The reason why we had to re film the video was because unfortunately the tripod got moved few times which caused the angles of the clip to be different and it made it difficult for me to successfully edit in certain transitions. My team made sure that during the filming of the video we did not accidentally move the tripod and everything went as planned to ensure the filming was going to be efficient and the editing process would not give us any type of problems. Today I reviewed the footage we filmed and work on the editing of the video to achieve what we imagine the video like. The first thing I did was import the videos into the app I used to edit the video (capcut). I connected all the originals videos on the app and lined up in the order that each scene was supposed to go. My first concer

Final recording

Hey I am Anthony Villegas and today I will be sharing with you how the final recording went. After the last recording session went great or thats what I thought I realized while editing the video that we made a huge mistake of something that was so minimal. During the editing I realized that the frames of our video were slightly off. I attempted to fix the frames and join them but the tripod simply moving few inches to a different side made this really tuff because even tho you see a slightly move on the tripod thatI did not realize during the filming when you put the angles side to side they are not angle correctly.I decided to discuss it with my team and the first option I had was to fixing it by zooming into the frame and connect the corners of each video. But once I tried doing that I realized the angle changed a lot and I had to do more than that to be able to achieve my goal. After several hours trying to fix it, it simply would not work.I took the decision of bringing my team bac

editing the video

Hey I am Anthony Villegas and today I will be discussing the editing of the video. Since it was my first time filming a music video I was not completely sure on what to do. I filmed the video with no prior experience but with my imagination and what I thought it was right. I wanted to add many different transactions in and it took us a long time to actually record the video around 5 hours of recording. I had to go over all the footage that we recorded which turned out to be around 45 minutes of only footage. I then proceed to look for the exact clips that I actually needed for the video and what needed to complement each other.  Now that I have the videos separated and cut by the ones that I will be using I have to join the clips. Cap cut overall has been a great app to edit because of its simple features that made things clear to do. After I cutted the videos and look for the right order to pair them up I then realized that we made a small but huge mistake. During the process of

Day one filming

Hey I am Anthony Villegas and today I will be sharing my experience filming a music video for the first time.  I already went through different stages working for the preparation of this music video. I first looked up the song that I was planning to do which was "yo visto asi" by bad bunny, and figured out the exact meaning of the song and what the author is actually trying to express an idea to its audience. Now that I am fully aware of the meaning of the song I believe that I am able to have a better idea of what I am going to look for to do for the video. Some of the things I did to prepare myself for the making of this video was look at similar videos produced by a director named Stillz who in my opinion is the best music video director. Once I seen some videos I have expanded my vision and took a few minutes to actually picture what I wanted to do in my storyboard. I also needed to decide where would the video will be taking place in order to be able to join everything

wardrobe production

Image
Hey I am Anthony Villegas today I will be talking about the Wardrobe. The Wardrobe in a production is basically referring to the clothing that will be used on the making/filming of the video. As the stylist of the video I am in charge of curating the outfits that the characters will be using on the video. After Analyzing the message of the song "Yo Visto Asi" it comes to my imagination a curation of clothing that is unique and rare as well as spontaneous. I believe that my idea of the outfits being some type rare will make the public perceive and understand the song better. I want to put the high end brands to a side and go for something more rare and look for pieces that no one has seen before. I decided to make my curation of clothing for the video from vintage clothing that tends to be more difficult to obtain than a expensive designer item. In my curation I decided to use colors that highlighted as well as the black and white combination that never misses and a red and w
