 Planning: Location, Participants, Health, and Schedule

Location:

Keeping in mind the film is called "13th Street" I did some research in the area to find the nearest "13th Street" to be as accurate as possible. I decided to wait for the sunset and ride around til I was able to find a dark part of the street that was safe enough for us to record during the nighttime.  I was able to find a location that is 5-15 minutes away from all of us since to our advantage there is an actual "13 Street" in town that is nearby. The street is exactly what I had pictured in mind making it perfect for the shooting of the opening scene. Our only difficulty with the location is that only two of the participants have a car so it is a challenge yet we are capable of providing transportation to all the people participating. Making it easier for the extras to be able to participate.

Schedule:

Thankfully when it comes to our schedule all of the participants are current high school students who have similar personal lifestyle schedules. Keeping in mind the film will be shot during the night our time frame to shoot is from sunset til 11pm since all of the participants need to be home before midnight. We also decided it would be fundamental for us to be together and go through what we are filming before we begin so our time schedule to be together is from 4 pm to 11 pm. To avoid impacting the sleep of our participants and to avoid interfering with obligations the next day we agreed that the best days for us to film are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Based on this we decided the weekend of February 2,3,4 was the best option we have coming up soon. 


By 02/02/2024 from 5pm to 11pm: will be our first day of preparation to begin our filming process. We will go through what we want to film and once we all have a clear idea of what to do we should start practicing how we will be filming to make sure everyone is aware of their positions and roles in the making of this opening scene.

By 02/03/2024 from 5pm to 11pm: will be our second day of production on set. During this day we should all know what to do exactly and we will be able to film properly which will maximize the efficiency of our time together during production.

By 02/04/2024 from 5pm to 11pm: This will be our third and last day of production on set. The day before I will go over what we have filmed so far and whatever has to be filmed again or if there are missing parts we will finish that day. 

Health:

For us as a group, we are working to ensure the health and well-being of all the people participating on set. We will take multiple precautions when it comes to finding a safe place to film. We will also make sure to have an adult with us while we film in case there are any cops called since we will be filming someone getting abducted which can easily interpreted wrong from a perspective that has no context on what our purpose is and what we are doing. An adult could ensure a proper interaction with any person who approaches us in the worst-case scenario. We made sure to know the daily routines of our participants which allows us to know what their sleeping schedule can look like and we can avoid interfering with it. There will also be water and snacks provided for those who participate to ensure that no one is filming on an empty stomach.

Final recording

 Hey I am Anthony Villegas and today I will be sharing with you how the final recording went. After the last recording session went great or thats what I thought I realized while editing the video that we made a huge mistake of something that was so minimal. During the editing I realized that the frames of our video were slightly off. I attempted to fix the frames and join them but the tripod simply moving few inches to a different side made this really tuff because even tho you see a slightly move on the tripod thatI did not realize during the filming when you put the angles side to side they are not angle correctly.I decided to discuss it with my team and the first option I had was to fixing it by zooming into the frame and connect the corners of each video.But once I tried doing that I realized the angle changed a lot and I had to do more than that to be able to achieve my goal.After several hours trying to fix it, it simply would not work.I took the decision of bringing my team...
